Worldwide Logistics Network in the News:
Singapore
Worldwide Logistics
Network PTE. Ltd, www.wlnetwork.com
announces the first forwarding network offering RFID
technology to its members.
RFID technology is poised
to impact on the Freight Forwarding industry and in
particular Worldwide Logistics Network will focus on the
technology as it relates to Freight Forwarding,
Logistics, Transportation and the Supply Chain.
Worldwide Logistics
Network was created to facilitate and expedite
international transport for small to midsize freight
forwarders. Members constitute a worldwide network of
trusted agents and partners available to exchange
firsthand knowledge of customs rules, local regulations
and resources and prevalent information about the
ever-changing freight forwarding industry.
Worldwide Logistics
Network President Dennis McGibbon has over 20 years of
experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Most
recently in his position as Vice President of Sales for
World Cargo Alliance he was responsible for membership
development. During his tenure in that position the
membership increased 300%. Mr. McGibbon saw a need for a
smaller more focused forwarding network that protected
its members in each market and made them more
competitive through the use of RFID technologies.
Although Worldwide
Logistics Network is not an exclusive network it will
limit membership to 1 to 4 member offices per market
depending on the size of the market. This will help
ensure that your relationship with Worldwide Logistics
Network does not jeopardize those you have already
established with industry contacts throughout there
target markets.
